Projects to assist the development of new products and technologies

We support research and development projects for small and medium-sized companies in the area, including the development of differentiated technologies, to move away from dependence on large companies or to achieve independence from them. We also help develop successful products by proposing product development plans that satisfy consumers'wants and needs.

  • Supporting research and development projects by providing, at low cost, tests and measuring instruments available at our facility

Projects to develop human resources, including engineers

We are working on revitalizing the region by attracting engineers and skilled workers from outside the area. We are also implementing a wide range of projects which will further advance industry in the region.

  • Developing and implementing a training curriculum to help improve the technical skills of engineers assigned to work sites and design engineers at small and medium-sized companies
  • Aiming to improve quality control or quality assurance ability by conducting training to learn skills to operate equipment available at our facility.

Projects to provide sales and management support and assist with finding new

We collect and provide information necessary to develop sales channels and to find new business partners for products developed by the small and medium-sized companies of this region. In aiming to help the companies in the region gain purchase orders for products which are currently outsourced outside of the region, we will build a network for obtaining element technology and for receiving purchase orders.

  • Collecting and providing the information necessary to develop sales channels and to find new business partners in collaboration with Ibaraki Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion and through the Shinagawa Satellite Office
  • Working on promoting the technology and products of the small and medium-sized companies in this region through public relations campaigns, including a nationwide exhibition
  • Conducting an annual exhibition, "Techno Fair in Tokyo", in the Tokyo metropolitan area

Projects to enlighten and educate companies in the area

We are working on enhancing the corporate culture of the small and medium-sized companies in the region to enable them to stimulate other companies in the area and build favorable business relationships in the current rapidly changing business environment, while aiming to transform the nature of the regional culture in this area and to accelerate their efforts towards management innovations.

  • Holding lectures by business executives who successfully manage their companies with advanced management skills to encourage management innovation
  • Holding manual training classes during the summer holidays to get children interested in manufacturing and science

The market for small and medium-sized companies is not limited to within Japan. Some ambitious companies are beginning overseas operations in search of new markets. Providing primary backup support will be a key element of our industry promotion policy.

  • Arranging participation in eMEX (Electronics Manufacturing Expo: IT electronics exhibition in Suzhou, China) as an exhibitor and on-site business meetings
  • Assisting in arranging business-matching opportunities for Japanese companies with Chinese counterparts in collaboration with the administration committee of Suzhou National New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone
  • Holding seminars on globalization in cooperation with organizations that include the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)

  • Assisting in business operations, including outsourcing of manufacturing, technical assistance and joint research studies as well as helping Japanese firms start operations in the Chinese market and vice versa by taking advantage of our close relationship with the local government in Suzhou City

Our slogan is "Bring a breath of fresh air into the area." We provide a wide range of support services, as listed below, to obtain business for those who want to get their business rapidly on track by working together with all our staff members, including an incubation manager. We offer working environments at low rates, management and technical guidance, and information. Nineteen comfortable office rooms are available at rates ranging from 24,000 to 51,000 yen per month.
